Phillip Glass To Perform Qatsi Trilogy Live
The Arts Centre's freshly refurbished Hamer Hall will emerge from its two-year redevelopment in the most spectacular way possible, with reverred composer Phillip Glass set to conduct the stunning scores for The Qatsi Trilogy live and in full.
1983's Koyaanisqatsi, 1988's Powaqqatsi and 2002's Naqoyqatsi each stand as cinematic landmarks, presenting a stunning fusion of Godfrey Reggio's production and Phillip Glass's incredible compositions. Over three nights, Glass will lead his ensemble in recreating each respective score live and in full.
Koyaanisqatsi will be performed on Tuesday July 31, Powaqqatsi will be performed on Wednesday August 1 and Naqoyqatsi will be performed on Thursday August 2. Tickets through The Arts Centre.
