One Man, Two Guvnors

Lucky for us, Arts Centre Melbourne and MTC are stoked to announce that Richard Bean’s riotously funny adaptation, One Man, Two Guvnors, will make its way down to Melbourne. Unlucky for us, though, we’re going to have to wait until next year to get our dose.

Directed by Nicholas Hytner, this British slapstick hit received seven 2012 Tony nominations and was awarded Best New Play in the 2011 Critics’ Circle Award. Oh yeah, and did we mention that it’s currently running in the West End and on Broadway where it received the Outer Critics’ Circle Award for Outstanding New Broadway Play 2012? No? Well, we did now.

One Man, Two Guvnors will head to the Arts Centre’s Playhouse from May 17 – June 22 2013.
