Menopause the Musical highlights the lighter side of a tough period in life

Bringing together people currently undergoing "the change".

For roughly half the global population, menopause is a natural part of ageing. And yet, there remains a large amount of stigma, misinformation and euphemism surrounding what can be a very uncomfortable and inevitable part of life. This musical hopes to show the lighter side of menopause and reframe it as a time of solidarity among those who menstruate.

Kicking off later this month, Menopause the Musical is a comedic spectacular highlighting the humorous moments of menopause. Set in a department store, the musical features four women who are currently going through that time in their lives.

Theatregoers are expected to hear classic hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s sung and danced to throughout the show. Previous runs of Menopause the Musical have had box office success, with tickets completely selling out in some cases.

Menopause the Musical takes place between Tuesday November 20 and Sunday November 25 at the Palms at Crown, Melbourne. For tickets, head to Ticketmaster.
