Melbourne Workers' Theatre

There's nothing that we hate more than something good coming to an end, so the following announcement brings no joy for us. At a meeting held last week, the cats from the Melbourne Workers' Theatre announced that the company would be winding up its operations by the end of July this year.

For a quarter of a century, the company has occupied a unique position in the cultural landscape – in that time, not only producing a substantial body of work, but also being seen as an agent of change in the theatre world.

Bid your farewells to Melbourne Workers' Theatre by joining the company at Bella Union Bar on August 2 at 5.30pm.
