Melbourne Underground Film Festival Announces 2016 Program

The 17th Melbourne Underground Film Festival is back for another year to showcase the best in emerging cinema.

Opening the festival comes The Perfect Nonsense - a weird yet accessible journey through violence and humour from Addison Heath, plus short film A Thin Life by Frank Howson.

Further highlights include screenings of SheBorg Massacre from Daniel Armstrong, Chemsex, Stressed to Kill, a double feature of 100 Tears (Director's Cut) and Bloodmoon and a whole heap more.

Elsewhere, Mini MUFF sessions are set to come to the fore alongside A Night of Horror Volume 1 and the MUFF Neu Features Selection featuring both local and international picks.

Closing the festival comes Revenge of the Gweilo, a revenge drama from Nathan Hill in the vein of The Horseman and Fair Game
