The Melbourne production exploring the art of rope bondage

In ‘Bunny’, Luke George and Daniel Kok are well and truly stretching the sexual boundaries.

According to the pairing’s artist statement, they were match-made by Campbelltown Arts Centre through a two-week artistic exchange program in Sydney in August 2014.

Discovering a good working chemistry, they agreed to work towards a collaborative dance creation involving rope.

As the pair move with ropes strangling them from head to toe, they look to arrive at a heightened shared experience, making visible the tension and friction the ropes inevitably place between them. The title Bunny comes from the nickname given to a person tied in rope bondage.

Bunny comes to the Arts House for Asia TOPA between Thursday February 2 and Sunday February 5.
