Alongside screenings, the festival will feature the two day RENDER Animation Conference, The Centenary of Australian Animation Symposium, Max Hattler Is In The Room, Meet The Filmaker presentations and the free Careers in Animation forum.
Curated animations include an Australian showcase, kids program, student films, music videos and the hallowed Best of the Fest. International submissions will see Signe Baumane, Window On Slovakia and Late Night Frederator make their Australian debuts.
With over 3,500 entries to choose from this year, MIAF is fast becoming one of the largest animation festivals in the world.
