Melbourne’s much-loved Fringe Festival is now going into its 29th year. is an annual showcase of emerging talent from our fair city’s diverse and thriving independent arts scene.

This year’s festival features a myriad of diverse offerings, including a tour of Melbourne’s streets with a homeless person, as well as a whole heap of performances taking place in locations auch as a tent in Brunswick,  a house in Fitzroy, a hotel room, a subway and St Paul’s Cathedral, theatres, pubs, galleries and clubs all over Melbourne.

The Fringe Hub continues to be an important part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival. Centred around a series of venues in North Melbourne including the North Melbourne Town Hall, the Meat Market and Lithuanian House, it offers a critical mass of shows curated by Melbourne Fringe, designed specifically to highlight the depth and diversity of talent across the independent arts area.
