Melbourne Festival Unveil 2012 Festival Hub
The Melbourne Festival have announced their plans for a custom built party-performance venue, the Foxtel Festival Hub.
The three levels of decadent architecture on the banks of the Yarra will host nightly performances, bars, and a culinary spread by Mamasita co-owner Jason Jones in festival restaurant Epulo.
Acts performing in the space are a mix of local and internationals, featuring Boy George, Eddie Perfect, jazz songstress Brous, The Bombay Royale, Lanie Lane, a screening of Warhol biopic Andy X - plus many, many more. Other perks, in typical Melburnian fashion, are coffee and free wi-fi.
Created by longtime festival producers Strut & Fret, this pop-up venue will cater to all of your festival needs.
The Festival Hub will be open from Thursday October 10 - Saturday October 27, 7am til late under the Princes Bridge. Tickets for performances go on sale Monday September 10. Follow the Melbourne Festival Facebook for more information.
