This Melbourne exhibition offers an intimate look at the refugee crisis

Ali MC is presenting an upcoming photography exhibition and photo essay based on his recent travels to Rohingya refugee and internally displaced persons (IDP) camps in Myanmar and Bangladesh.

Titled Rohingya: Refugee Crisis in Colour, it's an intimate look at humans who more often than not go unseen.
“The ongoing genocide of Rohingya people in Western Myanmar (formerly Burma) remains almost ignored by world media," says Ali MC. "Displaced from their homes, attacked by the military, interned in refugee camps and driven across the border into neighbouring Bangladesh, the Rohingya have become known as one of the world's most persecuted people.”

The exhibition runs from April 5 - May 26 at Fitzroy Library. More info here
