Looking at Looking Visits NGV
When you look, how do you see? Out of your eyes, silly. Looking at Looking: The Photographic Gaze is a unique exhibition exploring how photography can construct particular ways of looking.
Looking at Looking will feature works by 10 Australian and international photographers including 20 photographers from Bill Henson's Untitled 1980-82 series.
The exhibition will bring together a fascinating selection of photographs inviting the viewer to consider the diverse nature of the photographic gaze and explore the complex relationships between the subject, the photographer and the audience. An interesting, fun and thought-provoking exhibition – it's definitely not one to be missed. Best of all, it's free!
Looking at Looking will be on display at NGV International from September 30 until March 4.
