Launceston’s eclectic celebration of arts, music, food and wine, Junction Arts Festival, has revealed this year’s festival program, offering over 25 events across the four-day festival. The festival will showcase a host of Tasmanian talent and offerings through events ranging from rollerskating to cabaret.

Across the weekend, you can expect to experience local live music, dance and art installations as well as experiencing Tasmanian harvests within unique settings like a communal dining experience and an upside-down bar.

The festival kicks off with a Launch Party at Windmill Hill Hall, featuring performances from Bad Dad Orchestra, Je Bahl and DENNI, before proceeding to the likes of the Tamar Valley communal feast, where you can taste culinary delights and award-winning wines from the region. The guts of the festival will involve a slew of free live music events within Prince’s Square, where you can also expect to catch Indigenous performances, dance, theatre, and loads more entertainment.
