Sure it began as a government initiative to strengthen cultural and trade ties between Victoria and India, but that’s only the beginning of the celebrated festival. Including some of India’s biggest film names such as Former Miss World and screen goddess Priyanka Chopra, Bollywood superstar Shahid Kapoor, Tamil screen legend Vijay, and many more, the festival will run for twelve days, screening an extraordinary 40 films including 20 Australian premieres.
