This immersive experience invites you to be blind for an hour

Tread carefully.

Ever wondered what it's like to be blind? Dialogue in the Dark is the new experience from Guide Dogs Australia where punters will be completely visionless.
Yes, one of your senses is inept but that's ok, there are plenty of other avenues to navigate this world of ours. Not for the faint-hearted, Dialogue in the Dark will push your senses and problem-solving skills to the limit.
The immersive exploration will teach you different techniques to curb your disability, to navigate this hectic world of ours. Over the course of an hour, you'll be joined by a person with low vision who will teach you techniques of orientation and security.
Within that you'll discover the incredible capabilities of your four other senses as well as how to communicate with others, without using visual cues.
What's more riveting, you'll be set free amongst the boisterous Melbourne streets. Cars will dodge, skaters will weave but will you be prepared to accept the unknown?

Dialogue in the Dark is open from today and runs into the summer (bar Mondays) at Harbour Town in Docklands. Find out more and get your tickets here.
