The Grid

What defines city living for you? What needs to be changed and what should be celebrated? These are just a couple of the questions that Preston’s NMIT first year illustration students aim to explore with their upcoming exhibition.

The Grid’s purpose is to delve into metropolitan culture, analyse its core and interpret its relevance in today’s society. It’s a theme that can apply to everyone and that has provoked a wide range of reactions from a talented crew – eliciting visual responses that vary from sweet nostalgia to bitter contempt.

NMIT’s The Grid will showcase their talents at The Black Cat from November 9-29.
