First Acts For The Melbourne International Comedy Festival

“A day without laughter is a day wasted” – Charlie Chaplin. The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is probably the happiest month of the year. Who doesn’t love laughing? 

If you live in Melbourne and you haven’t been to the MICF – you are boring and are missing out on some of the world’s best comedians performing right here on our doorstep. The 2012 festival is fast approaching, and next year’s festival with draw acts from all over the globe plus brand new shows from some of our local favourites. Acts confirmed for the 2012 Melbourne Intentional Comedy Festival so far include Mike Wilmot, Paul Foot, Wanda Sykes, New Art Club, Dixie Longate, Alex Horne, Shappi Khorsandi, Tim FitzHigham, David O’Doherty, Carl Einar-Häckner, Mark Thomas, Judith Lucy, Claire Hooper, Sam Simmons, Jason Byrne, Wil Anderson, Frank Woodley, Ross Noble, Mark Watson, Jimeoin, Tom Green and Stephen K Amos.
