This year’s festival will feature a range of workshops, masterclasses, discussions, performance events, readings, parties and ‘pitch-a-thons’ to bring together and inspire the Melbourne writing community. Thousand Pound Bend will act as the festival hub, with Slice Girls Pizza, The Workers Club, The Wheeler Centre and the Good Copy Reading Room and more also hosting writers and events throughout the festival.
Highlights include Amazing Babes, where a range of women perform odes to the females in their lives; an opening night extravaganza at Federation Square’s Deakin Edge; and Inside the Publishing House, which offers a behind-the-scenes look at one of Australia’s biggest publishing houses.
