Dylan Moran Returning To Melbourne
Warning: This article may contain gushing.
Dylan Moran is returning to Melbourne for his brand new tour Yeah, Yeah for one show only this July.
Best known as the creator, writer and star of British comedy Black Books (for which he won two BAFTA Awards), Irish-born Dylan Moran has also appeared in a number of films including Shaun of the Dead, A Film With Me In It and Run Fatboy Run. Now Melbourne will get to, once again, see Moran in all his unkempt glory at the Princess Theatre on July 31.
Dylan Moran’s new show covers a whole range of topics: ageing, kids, relationships, and religion and marks his fourth tour of Australia. Each of his previous shows here have completely sold out, and this one is expected to follow the same pattern.
With his offbeat and somewhat unpredictable comedy, Dylan Moran has become one of the top stand-up comedians of this generation. The UK’s Channel 4 placed him at number 14 on their list of Top 100 Greatest Stand-Ups last year, while French newspaper Le Monde once referred to him as “the greatest comedian, living or dead”.
If you’re gushing at this news too, tickets for Dylan Moran’s show at the Princess Theatre on July 31 will be available Monday May 9 via ticketmaster.
