Deep Space

How does it work? Deep Space is a 70 minute experiential ‘game’ played by a team of two to four players in an immersive and physical space, where you are literally present in the story world – a hybrid of a video game, film narrative and escape room. Boasting multiple endings and an Artificial Intelligence who adapts and responds according to the players’ interactions, Deep Space is one immersive journey out of this world.

What can one expect to feel when walking out of Deep Space? A great thing about the game is that every group has a unique experience. The narrative changes depending on how you interact. Decisions you make have consequences, similar to a choose-your-own-adventure. Like a novel or film, it can evoke a range of feelings – fear, elation, exhilaration. So it’s hard to know exactly how you’ll feel. All we can assure you is that you’ll have an awesome time.

What do we get to experience? You and your friends will find yourselves navigating the engine corridors of a spaceship and completing various puzzles as you try to fix your malfunctioning vessel. You will find yourselves conversing and engaging with the ship’s artificial intelligence, who adapts and responds according to your interactions.

Why should we engage in more activity based socialising? In an age of content saturation, modern technology is generally criticised as separating people. Deep Space uses technology to push the boundaries of storytelling, bringing audiences together in a social, interactive experience that challenges their teamwork and opens their mind to something new.
