Following its sold out performances at The Incinerator and Flemington Community Centre, Flemington Theatre Group's Black Face White Mask is getting set to present theatre lovers with an opportunity to experience a vital new work performed by a highly talented group of Afro-Australian actors. 

Black Face White Mask offers a fresh, funny and vibrant insight into the complex lives of young African Australians living in Melbourne's Western Suburbs, portraying Melbourne with a distinctly African accent. 

Exploring the complexity of the Afro-Australian experience with humour and subtlety, confounding expectations and confronting stereotypes, Malthouse Theare will present Black Face White Mask from July 12 – 14. Bookings can be made through the Malthouse or at westernedge.org.au.
