After releasing a comedy album in April this year, titled The Album, comedy trio Aunty Donna have announced they’ll be hitting the road to give fans a live taste of the freshly released tracks.
The Album saw Aunty Donna collaborating with everyone from fellow funnyman Matt Okine to renowned singer/songwriter Montaigne to help deliver a side-splitting string of tracks. The three-piece have found huge success thanks to their unique fast-paced, sketch style comedy and The Album has done nothing but fuel Aunty Donna’s momentum.
“We can’t f**king wait to go on our first ever f**king music tour lol. With a f**king live band and Michelle Brasier on f**king backing vocals haha. We’ve f**king never done a f**king tour like this before lol. Limited f**king tickets lol haha,” said Aunty Donna in a statement about the forthcoming tour.
You can expect to see the boys recreating The Album on the stage with the help of Michelle Brasier and a live band in October, with the tour set to visit Ballarat, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Hobart, Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne. See Aunty Donna’s official tour announcement below.
