Arts House reveal stunning season 2 program

The season, which spans from July 2017 to January 2018, will explore a range of events, installations, performances and topics and display works from an array of local and international artists.

Season 2 kicks off on Saturday July 19, with the first portion of the season delving into the concepts of displacement and place. July’s performances will showcase the work of artists such as Nástio Mosquito, wani, Sethembile Msezane, PYT Fairfield, and Samara Hersch and Lara Thoms.

August and September will see Arts House premiere new works by locally based artists Stephanie Lake, Melanie Lane and Speak Percussion, as well as featuring collaborations with Melbourne Fringe and Melbourne Festival.

November will see Arts House revisiting Refuge to deliver the second installment of the five-year investigation into climate change. The piece sees Arts House teaming up with community and emergency services to unpack and portray the effects of global warming.

Season 2 will wrap up with performances by Fleur Elise Noble and JOF and Sam Halmarack, concluding on January 7 2018.
