Anne Edmonds will host this year’s Opening Night Comedy Allstars Supershow as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
“I’m so excited and honoured to be hosting the Opening Night Gala,” said Edmonds. “I’ve come a long way since drinking in the Town Hall Carpark dressed as a man after playing to 8 people in my third festival show, The Quarter Cabbage. Or have I? No, in all seriousness, I am over the moon.”
The Comedy Allstars show is a consistent festival highlight, featuring the best up and comers and heritage acts of the Festival each year.
