The Docs That Rocked The World

Blow Up Cinema is bringing Melbournian's a month of the world's best music documentaries with their screening of The Docs That Rocked The World.

The Docs That Rocked The World will be a month long event featuring documentaries on DIG!, Gimme Shelter, Soundtrack for a Revolution and Joy Division.The films will feature the stories of The Rolling Stones and The Dandy Warhols as well as performances from John Legend, Wyclef Jean, The Roots and Bling Boys of Alabama to name a few.
Each feature film will be preceded by a relevant selection of short films and music videos straight from the vaults of Red Hot Shorts. This will include an array of award-winning short films and cutting-edge music videos sourced from the best film festivals, most innovative production companies and leading record labels. 
The night will provide a great opportunity to kick back and relax with a drink or two and witness the journey of some the greatest rock acts in what is considered to be one of Australia's most historic premier rooms.
 
The Docs That Rocked The World will be screened at the Gershwin Room in St Kilda's Epsy Hotel every Thursday throughout the month of May. Tickets are $15-$17 and will be available via blowupcinema.com. Doors open at 7pm and films commence at 8pm. This is an 18+ only event.
