The children are our future, right? So we should celebrate their efforts from the very beginning. Right. 

Now in its eighth year, The Bayside Film Festival celebrates young and emerging filmmakers via a series of Australian premiere screenings, dynamic workshops, and international collaborations from as far afield as Kabul and Japan. Even if your film didn't get chosen, go along and support anyway! Nobody likes a sore loser. 

The 2011 Bayside Film Festival will run from August 17 until August 20 at Palace Brighton Bay Cinemas. Check out this year's program here.
